Post-op lymphatic care, worked back by hand

What fibrosis is, and how it forms after a procedure
After liposuction, a BBL or a similar procedure, fluid and inflammation collect in the tissue while it heals. Left to its own pace, some of that fluid does not drain the way it should. Over weeks the area can harden into fibrosis, tissue that has thickened and stiffened instead of settling back down soft.

Manual lymphatic drainage is hand work, not a machine
This is not a device you lie under. Manual lymphatic drainage is a specific, gentle massage technique done entirely by hand, encouraging the lymphatic system to move stagnant fluid out of tissue that a machine setting cannot reach the same way. It is slower than a mechanical treatment because it has to be: the pressure and direction are read off how the tissue actually feels that day, not off a preset dial.

The aftercare plan, and what BBL recovery actually asks for
The fibrosis case above did not resolve from one appointment. It took a personalized plan of care built around that specific tissue, plus real education on what to do between sessions, not a generic handout. That combination, hands-on drainage plus a plan the client actually understands, is what the reviews for this treatment keep pointing at.
BBL recovery sessions follow the same logic on a schedule: positioning and pressure matter most in the first weeks, because lying or sitting the wrong way undoes drainage work almost as fast as it happens. Drainage itself is worked on a cadence through those early weeks rather than as a single visit, tightening as the tissue responds.
The failure mode is timing, not technique. Hardened tissue left unaddressed for months is harder to work back than tissue that gets manual drainage started early.
